Self censorship
Self censorship for political correctness is very common in the MSM.
Hiding race of minority perpetrators is extremely common, frequently prescribed by press codes. Sweden invented white pixelization of perp photos, so the race could not be determined and appear white.
Celf censorship often determines emphasis and slant: Black crime is barely mentioned, often excused or justified, while whites killing Blacks is blown out of proportion. Often self defense cases like in the Michael Brown and Darren Wilson case in Ferguson
